UBC Hospital is on the University of British Columbia campus. The UBC Hospital Urgent Care Centre offers specialized treatment for non-life threatening emergencies by emergency trained physicians and nurses. The Centre also offers a wide range of diagnostic services and testing including x-rays, blood tests, ultrasound, CT scans and ECGs. UBC Hospital, with 191 beds, links to the emergency department at Vancouver General Hospital and other acute care hospitals across the region to ensure patients continue to have timely access to the services they need in the most appropriate setting.
