<div class="ExternalClass64E1E6CAC8064D4897135E751AF39B5C"><div><p>Provides comprehensive, flexible HIV testing, treatment, housing, public health follow-up and education to target clientele who include:<br></p><ul><li><p>Aboriginal people</p></li><li><p>LGBTQ2S (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, queers/questioning and two-spirited)</p></li><li><p>Youths</p></li><li><p>Immigrants and refugee communities</p></li><li><p>People with mental health and/or addictions issues</p></li></ul><p>STOP services offered include:<br></p><ul><li><p>Outreach services</p></li><li><p>Nursing support</p></li><li><p>Physician services and some peer supports (in partnership with Positive Living BC) and intensive case management (in partnership with AIDS Vancouver</p></li></ul><p>The team's key functions and role include:<br></p><ul><li><p>HIV, STI and hepatitis testing through mobile clinics in community settings,</p></li><li><p>Special events and high risk venues</p></li><li><p>Engagement in HIV care and treatment including outreach, short-term intensive case management, treatment and connection to care</p></li><li><p>Public health follow-up in collaboration with Vancouver Communicable Diseases Control Team provides counselling and referral services as well as social networking approaches to identify others vulnerable to HIV</p></li><li><p>Education and capacity building through HIV/AIDS education, training and resource support to enhance existing health and social services</p></li></ul></div></div>1290 Hornby Streetstophivaids@vch.ca(604) 714-3478(604) 838-1331V6Z 1W2BC49.28098970000001,-123.12431879999997
