Adult Day Programs provide older adults who may have physical and/or memory challenges or who are living with a chronic illness with supportive, culturally inclusive health, social stimulation and therapeutic recreational programs in their community.

How to access

  • Access Home & Community Care Services

    • ​Older adults aged 60 and over
    • Person can be mobile or in wheelchair; can be independent or requiring assistance in eating; can have dementia but not be aggressive.

  • Friday:   9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Saturday:   Closed

Located on the main level of north end of the Simon KY Lee Senior Care Home at 555 Carrall Street, Vancouver, BC.

 

Services

Some services provided by the centre include:

  • Recreational Activities, such as baking
  • Crafts, chess, singing
  • Delicious and nutritious Oriental meals
  • Dietitian service
  • Exercise group and physiotherapy
  • Health monitoring (ie. blood pressure, blood sugar, wound dressing)
  • Health education and promotion

Field trips are organized at least once per month, weather permitting.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors Care Home

The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors Care Home is a three storey building in Chinatown. The ground floor includes an Adult Day Programs, and a Special Care Unit with 23 beds. Four other resident care units occupy the second and third floors.
