Children are screened in kindergarten at their school.</p><h2>What happens during vision screening?</h2><p>The child's vision in each eye will be measured by a hand held vision screener that the child looks at. Depth perception is checked using a matching game that the child plays with the screener wearing special glasses. After screening, children who require follow-up are encouraged to visit an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Children do not need to be able to read to be screened. </p></div>1140 Hunter Place300(604) 892-2327<div class="ExternalClass507370DCDB234AB48AB9C9AEDEF454EF"><div>Monday - Friday</div><div>8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.</div></div>(604) 892-2293V8B 0G8BC49.7029578,-123.146301<div class="ExternalClass93084AFADF03402A8355613BAA0D6480">This service is available to residents of the Sea to Sky Corridor, including Mount Currie.<br></div>Squamish Community Health Centre
