Eating Disorders Program - Richmond Public Health

?We offer community-based assessment and treatment for youth, adults and families with eating disorders.
Treatment may include: 

  • Individual, group and/or family counselling

  • Medical monitoring

  • Nutritional support.

Our aim is to explore and enhance the unique strengths and abilities of clients and families in the pursuit of personal and health goals. 
Consultation and education are also available to community agencies and professionals to promote awareness and early intervention.

About the team

We are an interdisciplinary team made up of physicians, therapists, and a registered dietitian. 

We work in collaboration with family physicians and liaise with the Eating Disorders Programs at BC Children?s and St. Paul?s Hospitals.
A component of Richmond Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Richmond Eating Disorders Program is supported by Vancouver Coastal Health and the Ministry of Child and Family Development.

Is there a cost?

These services are free-of-charge.

A referral from a family doctor is required.

?Wheelchair accessible through front doors on main floor.

Eligibility

?Our services are available to people of all ages who live in Richmond.  

We also serve all eating disorder concerns in the DSM-V.
