Adult Day Program - Cedar Cottage

We provide supportive therapeutic, health and social programs for seniors with complex care needs who are living in the community. 

The program includes: SteadyFeet--a community based strength and balance activity class; health monitoring--podiatry, medication assistance, health and wellness workshops, personal care, and registered nursing; nutritious food and special diets; caregiver supports; and daily therapeutic activities. ?Regular activites for seniors include discussion groups, exercise programs quizzes, physical and brain games, music and crafts.

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Referral

To access this service, please call the Vancouver Community Central Intake Line. Clients may also call their nearest community health centre and ask to speak with a case manager for the adult/older adult intake program.

Eligibility

?Eligibility is determined through the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority Home and Community Care Office. Priority is given to individuals living within the boundaries of the Cedar Cottage/Kensington area who are living with complex health issues. Individuals residing in surrounding areas are welcome when space is available. 

Age range: 60 and over
