Smoking Cessation Clinic - Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre

This clinic offers smoking cessation assessment and treatment. This clinic is appropriate for those who are interested in quitting smoking and for those who may be simply exploring their options.

This clinic is about the process of recovery, which is unique to each individual. Each person will receive:

  • An assessment by a doctor or nurse trained in tobacco dependence
  • Ongoing education, monitoring of progress and counseling support
  • Smoking cessation tools may include the use of smoking cessation medications

Is a referral required?

No referral is required. Please call (604) 875-4800 and select option 2 to enroll yourself.

How long is the program?

The length of the program varies for each individual.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost associated with the program.

Parking & transportation

There is pay parking available at our two visitor lots located on the VGH campus:
  • Multi-level parkade at the corner of West 12th Avenue and Laurel Street, across from the main entrance of the Jim Pattison Pavilion.
  • The Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre parking lot is located off of Laurel Street between West 12th and West 13th Avenue.
There is a wheelchair-accessible overpass from the VGH parkade at Level 4 and a crosswalk at Level 2.
