We provide services to prevent early childhood dental disease.
We focus on prevention and early intervention of early childhood dental disease. Preventive public health dental services are for children 1-5 years. Services include:
12-month risk assessment
Dental screening
Oral health information
Fluoride application
Referral
All services are provided in clinic by appointment and in outreach settings. We also provide oral health education to various groups in the community upon request.
This dental program also provides assistance to people living with developmental disability through the Dental Health Services for Community Living Program.
?Referral required. ?Children can be referred through 12-month risk assessment and community dental screening, or parents can phone to make appointment.
?The program is available for families living on the Sunshine Coast.
