Squamish General Hospital is a 20-bed acute care facility providing services that include general medicine and surgery, obstetrics, palliative care, physiotherapy, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, ambulatory care, chemotherapy, emergency.
We provide acute, community and primary health
services to more than 270,000 residents in rural and urban settings living on
the North Shore, in Sea-to-Sky Country, on the Sunshine Coast and in Powell
River. Programs and services are planned and delivered
addressing the needs of patients, clients, and their families as they move
through all stages of care, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.
Additionally, it is affiliated with and provides service to BC's Central Coast,
including Bella Bella and Bella Coola. North Shore/Coast Garibaldi has acute
centres and emergency clinics in North Vancouver, Sechelt, Powell River,
Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.
Patients and their immediate family members can request that no information be disclosed to callers or anyone but authorized medical health care providers.
Emergency department open 24 hours a day, seven day a week, 365 days a year.
