Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute (VCHRI)

?Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute (VCHRI) is one of Canada?s top-funded health research organizations. VCHRI is the research arm of Vancouver Coastal Health and a health partner of the University of British Columbia. VCHRI is dedicated to moving research into practice and strengthens health research by developing new prevention strategies, early diagnostic tests and treatments.

VCHRI encompasses three research-intensive institutes?Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre?as well as Richmond Hospital, Lions Gate Hospital and various public health agencies in Vancouver and across Vancouver Coastal Health. 

VCHRI is home to nationally and internationally renowned research centres and programs. It has over 900 principal investigators, graduate and post-graduate trainees and over 350,000 square feet of research space.
