Our program serves clients over the age of 19 who are diagnosed with a major mental illness and experiencing significant problems that interfere with their functioning in the community.
Clients primarily fall into one of two categories:
Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
Mood disorders, i.e. bipolar and major depressive disorders
Our multi-disciplinary services are provided through eight mental health teams and a variety of specialized programs.
Services are also provided to people who have co-occurring disorders such as personality disorders, substance abuse/misuse, mental challenges, etc.
?Referral can be initiated by the person affected, family/support, or health care professional by contacting the Access & Accessment Centre.
Must be a resident of Vancouver Coastal Health - Vancouver
Age range: 19 and over
Individuals experiencing emotional, psychological or psychiatric concerns; living with severe and persistent mental health issues; or struggling with substance use and addiction.
