The Provincial Voice Care Resource Program provides assessment and therapy programs for individuals with voice and laryngeal breathing problems. These speech-language pathology services are offered by professionals who are highly trained in problems of the voice and larynx (voice box).
Our team works collaboratively with other health care professionals including otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat specialists), psychiatrists and other medical specialists to ensure the most comprehensive and effective care is provided. We also house the latest equipment to assess, diagnose and treat people with voice and speech disorders.
The purpose of our program is to:
Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Referrals to the program are initiated by otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat specialists) and members of other medical specialties, such as respirology, neurology, psychiatry, neuro-psychiatry and physiatry. Referrals must include copies of recent laryngology exam results.
The specialist's referral may be sent by mail or by fax using our contact information above. Once we have received the appropriate referral information from your medical specialist, you will be contacted about your first clinic appointment.
