Our team includes physicians, registered nurses, a social worker, registered dietitans, a psychologist and secretary.
You will be sent questionnaires before your appointment so that we can learn more about your medical history. We may also ask you to complete some lab tests.
Please complete any forms or tests before your visit so that we can make the most of out time together.
The Initial visit is two hours long. Follow up visits can last anywhere from 1-2 hours. Follow up visits are arranged as needed.
There is no cost for the clinic appointment.
Bring a list of current medications including dosage (or the medications themselves). A friend or family member is also welcome to accompany you.
Some metabolic disorders can be the underlying cause of nutritional complications, for example inability to gain weight. Individuals with such conditions will receive diet therapy specific to their metabolic disease.
Please note that we do not see patients for weight loss counselling or diabetes education.
A referral by your physician/family doctor is required.
