Community Care Facilities Licensing - Squamish Community Health Centre
Issues permits and inspects licensed community care facilities for adults and children. Services include: processing applications for licenses, assessing suitability of potential managers/license, inspecting facilities and assessing program quality, investigating complaints and acting as a resource. A Community Care Facility License is required for any facility providing care for 3 or more people not related by blood or marriage to the operator of the facility. Types of license range from family daycare to specialized adult residential care.
