Recommended for all travelers. This visit includes a consultation with the Travel Doctor who reviews your health history and previous vaccinations. Based on your travel itinerary you will then be given recommended and or required vaccines, prescriptions and health tips.
You will not receive travel advice or prescriptions at this visit. The nurse will give a maximum of 2 vaccines as requested by the client. Generally this is used for follow-up boosters or for an individual wishing protection against a specific illness.
Email consults are with our Director, Dr. Boraston. They are for travellers who have been to the VCH Travel Clinic in the past or for those who live outside the Lower Mainland and cannot access a Travel Clinic.
For an email consult, please fill out on-line questionnaire and submit it. These email consults will be answered within 3-5 working days. If this is an emergency trip or if you simply wish to make an appointment, please call the clinic.
