A public health nurse can answer questions about mother, baby, or family health and services related to, or provided by, the public health system. An on-call nurse is based in each community health centre. They answer questions by phone or in person.
Public health nurses are currently supporting the COVID 19 pandemic response. The on-call phone lines are not currently being monitored. We will update this website when we are able to resume this service. If you need to speak to a nurse, please call HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 or follow up with your primary care provider.
Our Child Health Vaccination (2 months to 18 months) clinics are still running. Please call your local health unit for appointment booking.
For school age children, visit our school age immunization campaign webpage.
