The Arthritis and Neuromusculoskeletal Program provides specialized rehabilitation using a team approach. The team may include physicians, physiatrists, rheumatologists, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and speech language pathologists, depending on the patients needs.
Intensive inpatient rehabilitation is offered to patients who have been diagnosed with complex systemic inflammatory rheumatic diseases and/or associated reconstructive surgery. These include:
Joint reconstructive surgeries (i.e. knee, hip, ankle)
Inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation is offered for people with a variety of neuromusculoskeletal impairments such as:
Guillain Barre syndrome
Critical Illness Polyneuropathy/polymyopathy
Paid parking is available. Pay stations are located at the main entrance to the building and at the staff entrance on 28th Avenue.
