The VGH ICU is the trauma centre of the province where very ill or injured patients receive specialized care 24-hours a day. it can be an overwhelming place and we hope that the information on this webpage, along with the support of the staff, will help you to feel comfortable and informed about the care of your loved one.

Our visiting hours are flexible except during shift change, doctors teaching rounds or during patient care when your visit may be delayed.
Exceptions can be made to facilitate family presence based on the patient?s condition.
