Who We Are?
The Pediatric Service provides skilled, developmentally appropriate care to children and adolescents (0 - 19 years) experiencing health problems requiring hospitalization.
These services can include medical, general surgical, plastic surgical, orthopaedic, ENT, urology, trauma, mental health, or dietary. In addition, with family centred care, families are provided with support and education about the health problems of their children to help reduce hospital admissions/readmissions and facilitate healthy development to adulthood.
The Pediatric Service is aimed at children in the North Shore, Sea to Sky and Sechelt areas requiring in patient hospitalization, day care surgery or observation from the Emergency department. There is also an in patient eating Disorder service linked with the Be Real Clinic ambulatory service.
24-7; Visiting Hours, Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
