UBC Hospital (UBCH) opened in 1981, and is now dedicated to providing sub-acute medical and surgical care. UBCH?s innovative programs and services focus on urgent care, short-stay scheduled surgery, extended care, brain research, diagnostic services and ambulatory clinics. The Urgent Care Centre located at UBCH provides care for non-life threatening emergencies, as well as one-stop care for minor emergency treatment.
UBCH is one of British Columbia's foremost
teaching and research facilities and is located on the campus of the University
of British Columbia. Specialty areas at UBCH include: sub-acute medicine,

Koerner Pavilion - main hospital building
Purdy Pavilion? - located to the left and behind Koerner Pavilion, distinguished by its red panels
Patients and their immediate family members can request that no information be disclosed to callers or anyone but authorized medical health care providers.
