?Works with parents, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, schools, hospitals and physicians to provide a range of public health nursing services for children with disabilities in the pre-school/school settings.
Services include:
Health assessments and consultation
Development of child-specific health procedures (e.g. feeding, glucose monitoring, suctioning, catheter care, special equipment instructions)
Equipment acquisition and repairs
Education, training and delegating care to preschool/school staff
Monitoring and evaluating caregiver competency in the school setting
Advocacy
Additional support for children and youth with special needs, including occupational and physiotherapy, is provided through Sea to Sky Community Services.
These services are free-of-charge.

?We serve children age 0-19 years.
