Dr. Kenneth Fung is a physician and healthcare consultant whose career has spanned medical practice, post-secondary education, and public service.
Internationally, Dr. Fung is Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, United Kingdom, and has served as Secretary and Treasurer of the International Organization of World Assembly for Mental Health. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and for many years, has served the Canadian Medical Association in the capacity of MD and Member of Parliament Liaison.
Provincially, Dr. Fung has served on Boards of Directors of: The British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA), the College of Family Physicians of Canada (BC), the Society of Clinical Faculties (BC), and the Society of General Practice (BCMA). Dr. Fung is active in community service, giving his time and leadership expertise to the Vancouver Multicultural Society, Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and a recipient of a twenty years Membership medal from both the Canadian Bar Association (BC) and the Richmond General Hospital.
