Amanda Witter, Director, Transformation Office for Vancouver Coastal Health, recently took her youngest son Leo to get vaccinated.
"Our health-care professionals have got this – the data and evidence is there to show how important it is to get vaccinated and how much it protects us and our families," she said. "I want him to be protected as well as everybody else."
After he got his COVID-19 shot, Leo said, "It was easy! Very easy."
To get a glimpse for yourself on what it was like, you can watch Leo's vaccination experience captured on video.
Anyone aged five and older can get vaccinated at clinics across B.C. The most important thing parents can do is register their children to get vaccinated at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca, and book their appointment as soon as you are invited.
