Construction is underway at Vancouver General Hospital to expand and enhance services and amenities for patients and visitors.
Between July 2 and 14, the west section of the VGH W. 12th Avenue parkade on level 5 will be closed for repaving and concrete repair.
During the week of July 2, construction will require the use of jackhammers and other noisy machinery. Work will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday, in accordance with the City of Vancouver noise bylaws. While we’re making every effort to minimize the impacts of construction, you may hear construction activity at times.
If you have questions or concerns about the parkade repairs or other construction on the VGH campus, please email email@example.com.
July 2 to 14, elevators and adjacent stairwells on level 5 will be temporarily out of service. Temporary signage will be in place to direct traffic. All other stairwells on the north, east and south sides will remain open.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we upgrade the VGH campus to serve our patients and community better.
