I would like to pass this letter onto your wonderful hospital and your teams whom all contributed to sav[ing] my life. … I was referred by the Richmond Hospital and I was taken into your cardiac operating theatre at about 11 pm where Dr. Robert Boone and his highly skilled team had come in from their Saturday night … to insert two stents … and I am thankfully alive to tell the tale, and return to leading my normal life, and in two weeks' time get back to cycling and hiking. Please thank them for giving me back my lie and forgoing their weekend.
Further, I'd like to thank all the staff in the Cardiac Care Unit for getting me settled in at midnight and their looking after me till I was discharged. … All their patiently and meticulously running tests and the personal care were much appreciated. Wish that some of the large companies that I had worked with ran with such harmony and efficiency.
Thank you for running such a superb hospital and having saved my life.
