Got stuff?

08/04/2015
Are you spring cleaning? Consider donating your gently used household items to our VGH Thrift Store as they need your previously loved housewares. The store’s inventory is running low and our dedicated team of store volunteers needs new items to sell, including:
kitchenware
small appliances
vintage curios and artwork
multimedia
Clothing, books and sports equipment are welcome, too.

We pick up!

You can drop off your items at our store, at a bin in Vancouver General Hospital, or we can arrange to pick up your donations on the last Saturday of every month.  If you have small furniture items, gently used clothing, and housewares you would like to donate, please call us on 604.876.3731 and ask for James any time Tuesday – Saturday from 10-5 to schedule a pick up.
Please remember that all donations need to be clean and in good condition. We do not have the resources to clean or repair donated items.
Note: We do not accept bed frames, entertainment units, computer printers. Please click here for a detailed list of what we do and don’t accept.

How your donations help

Since 2010, our VGH Thrift Store has disbursed $125,000 to VGH, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehab Cente and more. Now it needs your help to keep on giving.
All net proceeds — that’s right, 100 per cent! — go to benefitting our patients, clients and residents.
