More than 180 employees from small remote communities to large urban cities have joined VCH's Values Ambassador Network, and are introducing the shared values to their colleagues across the organization.
The Network officially kicked off in December, with many ambassadors hosting booths and introducing the values at holiday parties, team meetings, and other events. Now – after a brief hiatus for the holiday season – the ambassadors will continue sharing the values with fellow staff and physicians throughout the month of January!

You may have seen ambassadors at your workplace, handing out green, white, and blue pens with VCH's new values on them. Maybe you've visited a booth or took a selfie with a values prop. Perhaps you've shared your thoughts on a comment card provided by a values ambassador.
They are your colleagues, working in acute, community and corporate settings. They are spread out across 112 locations and 86 disciplines across the organization, but they are all a part of VCH for the same reasons: they felt a calling to help and heal.
Values ambassador Sara Cruz, senior admin secretary at Banfield Pavilion, introduced the values to more than 100 colleagues with the help of her dog Sushi.
"Here's a great quote that sums up my experience," she said. "Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success."
