Diana, Physiotherapist in the North Shore Community
“I enjoy the versatility of clients and their needs - it requires constant thinking, creativity, and promotes continuous learning," shares Diana, Physiotherapist working in the North Shore Community.
Diana's typical day involves visiting clients and performing anything from physiotherapy assessments to practicing exercises in the gym. She describes her days as “no dull moments." She works with a variety of clients, personalities, and family members to ensure the best care and resources are provided.
Having previously worked in an acute setting at Lions Gate Hospital (LGH), Diana was motivated to work in the Community to learn more about the services that are provided once clients are discharged from the hospital. “Being in my current position helps me understand the importance of timely communications between the acute and Community staff to ensure our clients receive efficient and timely services." She describes her co-workers as helpful, cheerful and supportive, who are great role models for their profession.
