VCH staff help students get their hands dirty

11/3/2015
Farm to School program, which VCH is a part of, help celebrate the important role that Farm to School activities can play in promoting well-being and learning among students. From school gardens and local food at lunch, to farm field trips, Farm to School is an approach that provides students with hands-on learning about their local food system, and important life skills for healthy habits to take root. Farm to School also strengthens the local economy through supporting local farmers and suppliers.
