Farm to School program, which VCH is a part of, help celebrate the important role that Farm to School activities can play in promoting well-being and learning among students. From school gardens and local food at lunch, to farm field trips, Farm to School is an approach that provides students with hands-on learning about their local food system, and important life skills for healthy habits to take root. Farm to School also strengthens the local economy through supporting local farmers and suppliers.

The Farm to School Vancouver Area Regional Hub (F2SVA) includes members from Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver Board of Education, North Vancouver School District, Farm to School BC, Farm to Cafeteria Canada, and the Fresh Roots Urban Farm Society.
