Join us for an informative and interactive session on Wednesday September 30, 2020 to connect with the Nurse Practitioner Leadership Team and recruitment advisors to learn about opportunities across diverse practice settings within our organization!
Nurse practitioners are advanced practice nurses with a master's degree and are licensed by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). NPs provide comprehensive health care including the diagnosis and management of diseases/illnesses, prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory & diagnostic tests and refer clients to specialists and allied health care staff. NPs work autonomously as self-regulated professionals, and often work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and allied staff in a variety of team-based settings
VCH NPs are medical staff and belong to the Regional Department of Nurse Practitioners, and their practice is supported by the VCH Professional Practice NP team. We have NPs working in more than 100 positions across a variety of practice settings across acute, primary care, long-term care and ambulatory care in both rural, remote and urban areas and our workforce continues to grow.
Bring your questions and get the opportunity to chat directly with our team!
Please RSVP by noon on September 30th to firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain the Zoom link. We hope you can join us!
