$25,000 award from International Association of Fire Fighters

Dr. Aziz Ghahary, Director, BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn & Wound Healing Research Lab at Vancouver General Hospital, has received a prestigious award from the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Dr. Ghahary was the only Canadian recipient; he was presented the $25,000 USD award on March 22 at the American Burn Association Meeting in San Diego before more than 2,500 attendees. Dr. Aziz Ghahary is a world-renowned leader in the treatment of burns and wounds.
