Canadian Association of Social Workers 2007 Distinguished Service Award

Kathleen Mackay, MSW RSW has made significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of domestic violence, as well as educating health care professionals about this serious social issue.

She has taught in the Domestic Violence programs at Vancouver General Hospital and Providence Health Care for the past 15 years, and currently coordinates the Emergency and Pre-admission Department Domestic Violence Screening programs at VGH and PHC.
