Chief of Defense Staff Commendation

Dr. Patricia Dunlop, Radiologist at Vancouver General Hospital and a Commander in the Canadian Forces (CF), was presented with the Chief of Defense Staff Commendation by CF Director General Health Services.

Dr. Dunlop, who has been a member of the CF for 20 years and completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2006, received the award for her outstanding work in the preparation for deployment of the first digital Radiology department and Teleradiology system in support of military medical operations in Afghanistan. She also was instrumental in digitizing radiology for all base clinics in the Canadian Forces.
