Member of the Order of Canada

Dr. Jon Stoessl, VCH Research Institute investigator, was named a Member of the Order of Canada in the field of Health Care, honouring a lifetime of distinguished service.

Dr. Stoessl is Director of the Pacific Parkinson Research Centre at UBC Hospital (affiliated with the Brain Research Centre at UBC Hospital) and is Professor, Medicine (Neurology) at the University of British Columbia, where he also holds the Canada Research Chair, CNS Disorders.
