Serving the East Vancouver community

Vancouver Coastal Health has renamed the Grandview Woodland Community Health Centre to the Robert & Lily Lee Family Community Health Centre in gratitude for the Lee’s $2 million gift to the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. The Lee family chose to support the centre as they strongly believe that community health care helps individuals overcome obstacles and take steps toward becoming healthier.

The Robert & Lily Lee Family Community Health Centre is a hub for health care in East Vancouver. As many as 350 clients pass through the doors of the centre every day, while another 200 clients are seen by health care workers who use the building as a home base. 

Services include:

  • Dental, infant, child and youth services, adult/older adult services and addiction services
  • Grandview-Woodland mental health team 
  • Harm reduction services
  • Several city-wide services, including SAFER (Suicide Attempt Follow-up, Education and Research), Healthiest Babies Possible, Youth Pregnancy and Parenting Program, Community Link, Access Community Through English and Health Services Community Living
  • East Van Youth Clinic
