Vancouver Coastal Health can confirm that four patients are in Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) due to injuries related to the Babine Forest Products mill explosion near Burns Lake.
Of the four patients receiving care:
- Two are in critical condition in the ICU;
- Two are in stable condition.
One of these patients was admitted to VGH’s ICU yesterday afternoon after being transferred from hospital in Prince George.
The next patient status update will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
