Request Access to CareConnect

Whether you are new or currently accessing CareConnect from within the VCH/PHC Health Authority, the following steps will help you get connected in your private practice. CareConnect will be available in private practices within other Health Authority regions and to other clinicians in the near future!

Are you the first person in your clinic signing up?

Complete the Private Practice Intake Form and our team will be in touch with you to confirm your eligibility for accessing CareConnect from your private practice office and provide you with next steps for enrolment.

My clinic is already using CareConnect, what do I need to do?

Email completed forms Our team will be in touch with you once we have reviewed your enrolment form to advise you on next steps to complete your enrolment. This may include confirming your identify using your BC Service Card with a BC Service Centre agent. For more information, visit the BC Service Card FAQ's webpage.

We have heard from many of you about the challenges with taking time out of practice to visit a Service BC Center to create an account for CareConnect. We completely understand and have been working with our partners to address your concerns with additional identity validation options.

We are very excited to announce that in most cases an in person visit to the Service BC Center is no longer a requirement!

Over the last few months we have been working alongside the Ministry of Citizens' Services to streamline the onboarding process for non-VCH & PHC privileged physicians and their office staff.

What does that mean for you?

You will now be able to complete the BC Services step virtually via direct video conferencing from any location. You will be able to validate your identity with a BC Services Center representative from the comfort of your clinic or even your home, rather than having to leave your practice and pay an in person visit.

We hope to see many of you who were held up by this requirement to take advantage of this new option and to continue to support you in completing your CareConnect enrolment process.

For assistance with the set up process, please contact

"CareConnect has been an amazing tool to have! It has saved us lots of time as we don't have to wait for hospitals to reply back to our fax requests.  It's great to have a patient's history in one central place."
