Raising funds to support health care in Powell River

Powell River General Hospital Foundation is comprised of men and women living in the Powell River area, some active in business and professions, some retired, all concerned with the quality of health and life in the community.

Your donations

The foundation raises funds for specific projects through functions, donations, grants and bequests. Additionally an endowment fund is managed, with the generated income used towards local projects. Past projects include:

  • Hydrotherapy pool
  • Ophthalmological scope
  • C-arm portable x-ray
  • Stress testing equipment
  • Gastro-scope
  • Night lighting for heli pad
  • Blood analyzer
