Resources for employees and physicians
Services
We support evidence-based practice, research, clinical care and administrative decision-making within Vancouver Coastal Health. Library services include literature searching, research and reference assistance, resource acquisitions (print-based and electronic), article retrieval, interlibrary loans, training and instructional workshops.
We have staffed research libraries with study space and computer stations at the following locations: Richmond Hospital, Lions Gate Hospital and Vancouver Community.

Resources
VCH library endeavours to provide equitable access to services and resources to all geographic areas, including rural and remote sites, by making most of our resources available online.
The library catalogue includes all of our print materials and e-book collection.
Research databases and online tools are available to employees and clinicians on our Research databases & online journals page. Usernames and passwords may be required to access some of these resources.
