Meals are served in a large sunlit dining room. All rooms are furnished. Residents may bring in an armchair, and are encouraged to decorate the walls with their own pictures and photographs.
Broadway Pentecostal Lodge is a government funded non-profit organization sponsored and operated by Broadway Pentecostal Care Association.
The primary language spoken at Broadway Pentecostal Lodge is English, but our staff members make every effort to honour and support each elder’s unique cultural, ethnic and language backgrounds.
Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada or by CARF.
As a dynamic organization we continually strive to improve services and programs towards the excellence modeled by Christ’s life and teachings. We are proud to have as our motto: “Excellence in care”

Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution. Visit our Costs page for more information.
Residents are invited to participate in a wide variety of recreational activities including crafts, outings, social and festive occasions, bowling, pet therapy, music therapy, discussion groups, sing-a-long, hymn sing, special entertainment, and one to one visiting with a volunteer.
The building is fully accessible for users of standard-sized wheelchairs or walkers.
Broadway Pentecostal Lodge cannot accommodate storage of motorized scooters
Well-behaved pet visitors are warmly welcomed at Broadway Pentecostal Lodge. For safety regulations, pets are not permitted in any food preparation areas and in dining rooms for the duration of meal service, and should be on a leash at all times.
There are no indoor smoking opportunities.
Broadway Pentecostal Lodge has a security system including wandering detection system to ensure safety of residents in the facility. A security pendant call system is also available for residents
Walking distance to Granville Island, seawall parks and the False Creek Community Centre.
All relatives and friends are encouraged and welcome to visit Broadway Pentecostal Lodge freely throughout the day. Visiting times are from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
There is a drop-off zone next to the main entrance but no designated visitors’ parking. Visitors may park along Lamey’s Mill Road or other neighbouring streets and on Granville Island.
