Each area has private gardens and the Manor has a beautiful therapeutic garden called The Friendship Garden.
Rooms in the Lower Lodge and Lower Terrace have patio doors and patios off each room. Two hair salons operate 3 days per week. Smoking Gazebo for Residents who smoke independently. Accessible by public transit.
English is the predominant language of our Residents. Staff are from diverse backgrounds and have the ability to converse in English, Farsi, Tagalog, llocano and Cantonese.
Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their residents, based on standards of excellence set by
Accreditation Canada or by
CARF.
Inglewood Care Centre is a community which promotes safety, comfort and compassion. We practice and promote excellence in nursing, gentle care and continue to expand the social activities to enhance quality of life.
Inglewood Care Centre offers 196 private rooms, and 17 semi-private rooms.
Residents pay 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution.

Wheelchair accessible in all areas of the buildings; every unit has an elevator.
There are no scooters allowed within the building. The width of our hallways does not allow for this type of mechanical convenience.
We have a Pet Program with a number of certified pets that visit with our Residents on a regular basis. We also have a number of families that are able to bring pets. All pets much be kept on a leash at all times. Pets do not visit in food areas such as dining rooms.
All Residents who smoke are assessed on admission and if they are deemed safe and able to smoke independently. An outdoor Gazebo is available. Cigarettes and lighters are kept locked at the Nursing station. Smoking cessation program is encouraged.
All exits are coded. Security cameras are at public entrances, corridors and parking lots.
Close to Park Royal Shopping Centre; one block from St. David’s United Church; next door to the Jewish Community Centre and Synagogue.
