<div class="ExternalClass42FCDF7407D241A99B7FD96CFE75CDE3"><p>The Transitional Pain Clinic (TPC) is a multidisciplinary, short term outpatient clinic aimed at improving <strong style="text-decoration:underline;">post-surgical pain </strong>management and reducing the negative health risks associated with long term opioid use.  Patients may be seen before surgery, after surgery, or both.</p><h2>Our goals</h2><p>The goals of the clinic are to:</p><ul><li><p>enhance post-surgical recovery, maximize function, and prevent pain-related disability;</p></li><li><p>decrease the risks associated with long-term use of prescription opioids;</p></li><li><p> and to prevent the development of Chronic Post-Surgical Pain (CPSP). <br></p></li></ul><h2>Our team</h2><p>The TPC team consists of Pain Specialist Physicians, Registered Nurses, a Psychologist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Pharmacist.<br></p></div>2775 Laurel Street, 7th Floor, Station 4a(604) 675-3659<div class="ExternalClass7E8E97E36E3548B8A292AEDE5F35C2E4"><p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:calibri, sans-serif;">The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering patient appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.</span><br></p></div>(604) 675-3653 -
