Three teens and an e-cigarettte

A comprehensive approach to tobacco and vapour products prevention, including school policies and evidenced-based programs, can reduce tobacco and vapour products use among school-aged children and youth.

Tobacco and Vapour Products Reduction Coordinators can:

  • Provide evidence-based resources

  • Facilitate in-class presentations for students

  • Train teachers, counsellors and other staff

  • Provide information sessions for parents (E.g. parent advisory committee, etc.)
