Community rehabilitation services

Our community rehabilitation services help individuals develop skills and access resources to be successful in their living, working and social environments. Our programs will provide the support you need to explore your strengths and areas of interest, help you learn skills for daily living and promote a return to meaningful activity including leisure and employment.

Gastown Vocational Services

We provide a range of vocational and educational services to both youth and adults who have a mental health disability. Services include:

  • Career planning

  • Assessment

  • Group or one to one work readiness skill training programs

  • Specialized pre-employment workshops

  • Work experience placements

  • Job coaching and supportive employment

  • Supported education services

STEPS Mental Health Rehabilitation Program

We provide a wide range of individual and group mental health rehabilitation services in the areas of personal life, leisure, education and work. Services include: 

  • Individualized mental health rehabilitation screening and assessment

  • Rehabilitation goal-setting and assistance with goal achievement

  • Individualized support

  • Rehabilitation readiness and exploration of service options

  • Referral to other services

  • Advocacy

Who’s eligible?

Each program will have eligibility requirements based on age, geographic location and symptoms.

Is there a cost?

These services are free-of-charge.
