Hospice palliative care provides comfort and quality of life care for people living with life limiting illness and their families. The focus is on comfort care, such as pain control, rather than care aimed at curing illness.

What costs are involved?There is no charge for most hospice palliative care services (for example, nursing care and supplies, personal care, and equipment in the home are free of charge to eligible palliative clients). There is a daily fee for hospice care, but if you are not able to pay we will work with you to cover the costs.
