Visits from family and friends while you are in residential careWe encourage family and friends to visit often and stay involved.Visiting hours Family and friends are invited to visit throughout the day. While there are no set visiting hours, the best time to visit is between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Check with staff for specific visiting hours details.Food and snacks We ask that you check with the nurse in charge before leaving food and snacks for residents.Primary family contact If you are a primary contact and are going away, please notify staff and provide a secondary contact.Stay home if you aren't feeling well We want our patients to have every chance to get well. Do not visit the hospital if you are feeling unwell (for example, have a cold or flu) or have been near someone else who is ill. It is also important to wash your hands or use available alcohol-based liquid/foam hand sanitizers before and after visiting a person in hospital.Pets Visitors are encouraged to bring family pets. Please be sure to check in with resident care staff before bringing your pets.
