Section 12 - School Health ManualWe have a number of health care services designed to meet the specific needs of youth including: CondomaniaCondomania works with youth aged 12 –15 to shape attitudes, values and behaviours that promote sexual health for life via school workshops. You can book a workshop for your class by contacting the program directly. Visit the Condomania website at www.planetahead.ca form more information. Youth Clinics Youth clinics offer free and confidential health services in a youth-friendly environment to individuals under 25 years old. Clinics are staffed by trained public health nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians and youth counselors. Youth are welcome to drop-in; no referrals, fees or identification are required. Youth counselling If you know a student who could benefit from counseling, encourage them to see a youth counselor at one of our Youth Clinics. You can make referrals for youth counselors by directly contacting the youth counselor, speaking to your school counselor or contacting the school public health nurse.
