Many of our programs are mandated in legislation by the Public Health Act. Programs include Environmental Health, Community Care Facilities Licensing and Tobacco Control.

Inspections and reports
Facility inspections are conducted regularly and when complaints are received for food premises, pools, child care, personal services (such as hair and nail salons), and residential care facilities.
The VCH Inspection Reports website is also available, and is designed to provide information to the public concerning the results of inspections of regulated facilities in Vancouver, Richmond, North Shore, and Coast Garibaldi as well as the Bellas.
