Home hospice palliative care provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual care in the home to comfort and improve the quality of life for those living with or dying from advanced illness.
Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses – whatever the diagnosis. End-of-life care provides comfort, dignity and quality-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and support for family and friends. The focus is on comfort care, such as pain control, rather than care aimed at curing illness.
