Media guidelines

To ensure media inquiries are facilitated as efficiently and effectively as possible, please keep the following guidelines in mind when submitting a request:

  • All media inquiries – including requests for information, statements, interviews, and filming – are directed to and coordinated by VCH Public Affairs.
  • Media representatives visiting a VCH facility are asked to notify VCH Public Affairs upon their arrival and be escorted by a VCH Public Affairs team member (or designate) when on-site.
  • VCH Public Affairs must receive appropriate written consent from relevant patients, clients, and employees prior to facilitating interview or filming requests.
  • Filming requests (commercial and non-commercial) must be accompanied by a written synopsis of the project. If consent to film is provided, a written agreement between VCH and the production company may be required.
